About us

In 2008, Our Culinary Team set out to create a style of pizza that blends what we loved most about the pizza in our respective hometowns, with influence from regional pizza styles of New York, Connecticut, and Columbus, Ohio. Our team worked tirelessly to develop the foundation of our business, the Signature Brenz Dough. We understood that the way to set yourself apart in this business is to be fanatical about the ingredients we use, the recipes we develop, the team we assemble, the service we provide, and the care we put into each and every item that leaves our kitchen.

Our Concept began as a single operation under the name Enzo's Pizza Co., located in Durham, NC, right outside Duke University. Enzo's quickly got the attention of the community—voted best pizza by Duke six times. Duke students and faculty, as well as families in the Durham community, choose Enzo's as their favorite pizza.

In 2015, we committed to expand our concept under a new name, Brenz Pizza Co., with locations in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Ohio. During this time, our culinary team developed multiple award-winning pizzas which took top prizes in national pizza competitions. In 2017, Brenz proudly represented the U.S. Pizza Team at the World Pizza Championship in Parma, Italy.
